None of the jargon. There are two kinds of IT people. The ones who sell you the biggest box, and the ones who sell you the cheapest. We’re the third kind. - **We ask first.** What you run. Who uses it. What ruins your Tuesday. Then we draw it. - **We buy once.** Underpowered gear is the most expensive kind: you buy it twice. Overbuilt gear comes a close second: you pay for power you never touch. We’d install: The router your ISP gives you. A Linksys switch. Two access points. You don’t need: A rack. Or Cisco. - **Villa or boutique hotel.** Signal from the lobby to the far end of the pool. Guests on their own network. Cameras you can check from your phone. We’d install: UniFi end to end: gateway, switches, access points, cameras. MikroTik where the signal has to cross a valley. You don’t need: Enterprise licences you renew every year for features nobody uses. - **Clinic or multi-site office.** Every site on one network. Patient data kept apart from everything else. Backups you’ve actually tested. We’d install: UniFi or MikroTik with a private link between sites. Separate networks for medical devices, staff and visitors. Managed accounts and email. You don’t need: A server room in every branch. - **Bank.** A backup for everything. Audits that pass. Security watching around the clock. We’d install: Cisco. Redundant links, firewalls and power. A paper trail for every change. You don’t need: Anything less. ### One team for the website and the wiring. Most companies hire one vendor for the website and another for the network. When something breaks in between (the tracking, the email, the forms), each one points at the other. We do both. There’s no one to point at. - **Network & infrastructure:** Wi‑Fi, cabling, switches, and the links between buildings. - **Security & compliance:** Firewalls, access rules, audits, and the habits that stop fraud. - **Accounts & email:** Who gets in, to what. Los datos de pacientes separados de todo lo demás. Respaldos que de verdad se hayan probado. Instalaríamos: UniFi o MikroTik con un enlace privado entre sedes. Redes separadas para equipo médico, personal y visitas. Cuentas y correo administrados. No necesita: Un cuarto de servidores en cada sucursal. - **Banco.** Respaldo para todo. Auditorías que se aprueban. Seguridad vigilando las 24 horas. Instalaríamos: Cisco. Enlaces, firewalls y energía redundantes. Un registro de cada cambio. No necesita: Nada menos. ### Un solo equipo para el sitio web y el cableado. La mayoría de las empresas contrata a un proveedor para el sitio web y a otro para la red. Cuando algo se rompe en medio (el tracking, el correo, los formularios), cada uno señala al otro. Nosotros hacemos las dos cosas. No hay a quién señalar. - **Red e infraestructura:** Wi‑Fi, cableado, switches y los enlaces entre edificios. - **Seguridad y cumplimiento:** Firewalls, reglas de acceso, auditorías y los hábitos que detienen el fraude. - **Cuentas y correo:** Quién entra, a qué.
